A Guide to Freshers Week and Beyond

Freshers Week takes place between September 15 – 24 for the new students of Nottingham Trent University.

There are lots of events and opportunities for freshers to get involved in to explore what the university and the city have to offer.

You can either book the events separately or buy the NTSU freshers pass to save money on multiple events.

Tuned: The Glitter Party at Rock City

Sunday 17 September

Rock City is one of Nottingham’s most famous nightclubs with three rooms for different music genres.

The club hosts its night for NTU students ‘Tuned’ every Thursday with two-for-one drinks all night.

This freshers event will give you a taste of what student nights are like at Rock City.

Freshers Fairs

September 18-21

Freshers fairs will be taking place across all of NTU’s campuses and there will also be a sports clubs fair at the city campus.

It will give you the opportunity to find out about all of the different societies and sports clubs that the university has and ask any questions you might have to the committee members.

Plus, there will be lots of freebies and student discounts offered by the cities’ businesses such as bars, shops and restaurants.

Ocean Beach Party

Tuesday 19 September

Ocean is one of NTU students’ favourite nightclubs and this freshers event will show you why.
